I recently spent two weeks in Wendland, Germany, where I presented my sculptures and plaster casts for the first time publicly during the KLP art and crafts event. Since the beginning of this year I have a very nice workshop there at some friend’s place and now that I was there for a longer period of time I decided to do what I have gotten the workshop for in the first place, namely to work on bigger sculptures. So I got some clay and started my first life size head ever, the third ever I did in water based clay. It was so much fun that I ended up doing five heads in ten days. Here is the first one.
